WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines Chiropractic as  a health profession independent of any other and not as a therapy or as a pseudotherapy.

Chiropractic is a health profession of first contact and is recognized as a health profession in most European countries, such as Portugal, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway or the United Kingdom, as well as the United States, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

The chiropractor is an expert in the spine and its relationship to the nervous system. Chiropractic treatment consists of conservative, evidence-based interventions, particularly chiropractic adjustment (spinal manipulation), patient education, and lifestyle intervention.

The use of these interventions for spinal disorders is supported by scientific evidence of the highest quality, as concluded by multiple reviews including those of the prestigious Cochrane collaboration. https://quiropractica-aeq.com/Declaracion-Institucional-AEQ/#p=1

Vertebral subluxations are joint fixations or restrictions with neurological impact as demonstrated by joint neuro-physiology studies, and consequently possible alterations in the balance or enthalpy of the body. By correcting these vertebral subluxations, the physiological capacity of the body to preserve and recover homeostasis is increased and even adaptability to challenges increases.

The central nervous system is made up of the brain and the spinal cord. And from the latter, all the “electrical wiring”, known as “nerves“, comes out, which are distributed to all parts of the body: organs, tissues, muscles, etc.

The spine protects our spinal cord and its connection to the brain. Some of the vertebral malposition may interfere with the necessary brain-body communication, harming our well-being and health.

What causes this interference?

Any information overload, such as poorly managed stress. There are three types of stress: Physical, Chemical,  and Emotional.

Even in the absence of symptoms, chiropractic identifies and eliminates these interferences “vertebral subluxations,” allowing to protect and restore your internal communication.

With a nervous system functioning and performing at 100%, it is the entire community of cells in the body that works best.
